Granero delighted seeing minutes for Real Madrid

Esteban Granero is feeling better about his place at Real Madrid after victory over Racing Santander.

The midfielder was happy to see first team action for the 3-1 win.

Granero said: "I felt great from a physical standpoint and the team was dead on, which gave us a lot of confidence. We could have gone into halftime with a larger lead."

"Everything turned out the way the coach wanted it to. We will try to win each of our remaining matches and hope that the leader slips up. We have a final to play and we hope to win our Champions League Round of 16 tie, which we haven't done in quite a while."

"We have a chance to win all three competitions. We all feel respected, which is why we always try to be useful and put forth our best effort."
