Gilberto: I'll bring Ronaldo to Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva reckons Ronaldo could be turning out for the Gunners in the near future.

Gilberto has proven a wonderful signing for boss Arsene Wenger and he told the News of the World, "It has not taken me long to realise that I have joined the right English club - and I think other players around the world are taking a lot of notice of what is happening at Arsenal."

"Yes, I have spoken to my team-mates and friends of the Brazilian team and all I can tell them is how good the football is here."

"Ronaldo has been interested in English football and he would be a fantastic player for any top club to have. I have told him about Arsenal and who knows..."

"I would never tell him what to do but, of course, if he thought about coming to England I would tell him there is only ONE club to play for!"

He said: "It would be nice to play Real so that the two sides could be compared."

"I would love to play my friends there in the final. I'm sure we will talk about that possibility and who would come away winning!"
