Getafe's De la Red slams Real Madrid

Ruben de la Red has hit out at Real Madrid after being banned from facing his former club for Getafe tonight.

"I'd scrap these clauses," said the midfielder. "Once you're no longer a member of a club, you must be allowed to focus totally on your new team."

De la Red also snapped: "In recent years there's been a lot of talk about Real Madrid's juniors, but the fact is you have no chance of playing. It would be good if more local players were given a chance like Miguel Torres. But this hasn't happened. First they promise you big things, then they sign two players for your position."
