Getafe coach Schuster: No Real Madrid contact

Getafe coach Bernd Schuster insists there's been no approach from Real Madrid about taking over from Fabio Capello next season.

The German said: "I believe that no-one has received offers. I have not offered myself to Real Madrid. You do your work, it is necessary to write and to give opinions. We never offer ourselves. If someone asks me if I would like to train Real Madrid, I would not say no, because who would not want to lead his former team?"

Meanwhile, on the future of Getafe defender Alexis, a target for Real, Schuster added: "The one of Alexis is easy. If he is not focused, we have others who can replace him. I believe he has not lost concentration because he is a professional.

"Transfer speculation can negatively influence a player and we are going to try and help him get over this subject."
