Even though he sees Ronaldo as a "perfect" addition to Real's millionaire squad, Zidane insists the departing Sanchis, Karanka and Geremi have not been replaced with decent new imports.
"And I don't understand how Claude Makelele can be linked with Inter for so long only to be denied a move in the wake of the Ronaldo transfer saga", Zidane added.
Real Madrid kept their ambitions to win "everything" this year but they have not completed a single signing this summer. Players fear the lack of squad depth could harm their chances.
