Geremi out of action

Real Madrid defender Geremi Fotso will be out of action for the next 10 days with a muscle tear injury.

The Cameroon-born right-back fell injured during Saturday's match against Athletic Bilbao and was diagnosed as having a sustained a muscle tear after club doctors performed a magnetic scan on his right leg on Tuesday.

Geremi will not be able to figure in the side for at least 10 days with a recovery date set for between 10 and 15 days. He will miss important league games against Alavés, Celta Vigo plus Real's return to the Champions League against Anderlecht on October 16.
