Gaspart urges Real Madrid fans to snub Perez: For Barca sake!

Joan Gaspart fears the re-election of Florentino Perez as Real Madrid president could spell major trouble for Barcelona.

The former Barca president said: "I really hope Florentino is not voted as president by Madrid.

"I recommend to Madrid do not vote for him for the good of Barca. I suffered, I am ruined and he made me a very poor president of Barca. Enjoy your election, Madrid, but do not vote for Florentino."

Gaspart also spoke of current Barca president Joan Laporta.

"Laporta is a great president, he has only one fault: that is, when a mistake is made, he does not recognize it. But weighing the positives and the negatives, he is a good president. He is brave because he faced a vote of censure, the members gave him a second chance and he now has the advantage," concluded Gaspart.
