Gaspart Sure Rivaldo Won't Play For Real Madrid

Joan Gaspart has reassured Barcelona's fans that Rivaldo won't sign for bitter Spanish rivals Real Madrid having been released from his contract over the weekend.

Having previously lost Luis Figo to Real it would be too much to bare for Barca's fans if their latest hero was to also end up playing in the Madrid's white shirt.

The President said: "I believe, hope, and am sure that Rivaldo won't play with Real Madrid."

The Brazilian superstar is looking increasingly likely to end up at AC Milan after their vice-president Adriano Galliani confirmed negotiations were underway.
