Gareth Bale: Real Madrid must improve in attack and defence

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale believes the team need to improve in both attack and defence, after they drew against Legia Warsaw in the Champions League.

The Polish side were able to grind out a 3-3 draw against Los Blancos despite being 2-0 down, in a game which began with a stunning goal by the Welshman within the first minute.

And despite being unbeaten in La Liga this season, Bale has challenged Madrid to improve in order to achieve their goals.

"We’re not happy with the result, we need to learn from this and bounce back stronger," said Bale, as reported by FourFourTwo.

"We had control of game at 2-0 and we just lost concentration. At this level, if it happens you get punished."

"We need to be better defensively and more clinical with chances. We just need to learn from mistakes."

The 27-year-old celebrated signing a new contract with the Spanish giants earlier this week by scoring a spectacular volley from outside the box as they took control of the Group F meeting early on.
