Forlan backs Van Nistelrooy for Real Madrid success

Diego Forlan has backed his former Manchester United teammate Ruud van Nistelrooy to get goals for Real Madrid, despite yesterday's blank against Villarreal.

The Dutchman struggled in the 0-0 draw, but Forlan said afterwards: "The game was difficult for the forwards because there little space and we had few chances."

"Madrid has a good team, but everyone knows that we are currently not at our best. I already gave my congratulations to Van Nistelrooy for his transfer. Today I have repeated it. He is very good."
