Floro: Joaquin, Navas on Real Madrid shopping list

Outgoing Real Madrid sports chief Benito Floro has confirmed he's recommended Real Betis ace Joaquin and Sevilla's Jesus Navas to the board for the summer market.
 
"Joaquin and Jesus Navas are two players in my report and which would help Michel Salgado, Cicinho and Beckham to take care of that right wing," said Floro, who admits he's likely to leave the club over the summer.

Floro also blasted the board over their pursuit of Arsenal captain Thierry Henry.

"For me, it seems ridiculous that a club of Real Madrid's standing should move for a player who has already turned them down," he said. "You should only get one chance to sign for Real Madrid."
