Florentino reveals having to diffuse row between Real Madrid stars Ronaldo, Casillas

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed he had to diffuse a row between captain Iker Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was angry over comments made by Casillas' girlfriend Sara Carbonero, the TV journalist, earlier this season.

Perez told AS: "I helped to solve this misunderstanding."

"Cristiano misinterpreted the words of Sara Carbonero, but this misunderstanding lasted ten seconds. They now have a perfectly normal relationship and wanted to go together to the Christmas event so people could see that everything was normal."
