A week ago, Florentino Perez appeared on radio and pushed all the blame onto Manchester United for De Gea failing to move from Old Trafford.
On Wednesday evening, the Real Madrid president did the same thing again. This time though he came with proof!
After many months of speculation, De Gea looked set to finally transfer to Real Madrid on the final day of the Spanish summer transfer window.
But, clerical errors scuppered the move and ever since there has been plenty of mud slinging between United and Los Blancos.
Perez appeared on Cope radio last night – and the Real Madrid president showed off a document, via the FIFA TMS transfer system, that he claims shows it was Manchester United’s fault for the failed transfer.
On the document below, it appears to show that Manchester United failed to complete their end of the transfer until 23:00 UK time, which was too late for Real Madrid to register the Spanish goalkeeper.
