Flavio fit to travel

Real Madrid midfielder Flavio Concecaio has been given the green light to travel with the squad for the weekend's Teresa Herrera tournament.

Flavio was hit with injury problems during a recent training session, and club medics thought it best if the player were to undergo a magnetic scan on his right ankle on Wednesday. However, the results of the scan show that Flavio is in fine shape, but has some minor inflamation in the area, which should subside in time for Friday's encounter with Mexicans Cruz Azul.

The 27-year-old Brazilian was forced to take a back seat from the Real Madrid side back in January, when he went under the surgeon's knife to fix and ongoing groin problem.
