Fiorentina in Real Madrid talks over Portillo return

Fiorentina striker Javier Portillo is set to cut short his loan and return to Real Madrid in January.

The Spanish U21 international has struggled to make an impact at Fiorentina since his summer arrival and coach Sergio Buso is prepared to let him return to Madrid.

A Real representative met with Fiorentina officials yesterday in Milan to discuss ripping up the loan arrangement.
