Fiorentina are chasing Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra.

The former Lyon ace appears on the outer at Real since the arrival of new coach Jose Mourinho.

Marca says a January exit is likely for Diarra, with Fiorentina keen to take him to Italy.

Also interested are Turkish giants Galatasaray.
