Fiorentina approach Real Madrid for Solari

Fiorentina are in talks with Real Madrid over midfielder Santiago Solari.

The Argentina international is inside the final year of his contract at Real, which are seriously considering selling the left-sided midfielder.

Fiorentina director general Fabrizio Lucchesi held talks with Real officials yesterday over Solari and is hoping for a decision from the Madrid giants this week.

Meanwhile, Lucchesi has registered Fiorentina's interest with Udinese for Danish defender Per Kroldrup.
