Figo to tie the knot

Real Madrid hero Luis Figo has set a date to marry his long-term girlfriend, Helene Swedin.

Most of the Real Madrid squad have now left the capital to take a well-deserved month's holiday and Figo is taking advantage of the break to organize his wedding.

The Portuguese ace will travel back to his home country for the wedding, which is rumoured to be taking place in the Algarve.

Figo's teammate Aitor Karanka is also getting hitched on the same day but in his home town, Bilbao. Both players will enjoy a two week honeymoon before they return to work on July 18th.
