Figo To Support Milan This Season

Real Madrid ace Luis Figo says he is going to support Milan in Serie A this season because of his old friend Rivaldo.

The pair played together at Barcelona, and Figo made no secret of the fact that he would have liked to have teamed up with the Brazilian at Real, before hearing he'd moved to Milan.

"Now I'll back AC Milan," Figo told the Corriere dello Sport. "Rivaldo is a world class player who helps the whole team: you can always count on him. Yes, I wanted him here at Real with me."
