Figo to appear on Coca-Cola trademark

Portugal national team and Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo is intended to sign a contract with the American company Coca-Cola.

The American giant of beverages will have the right to use Figo's image with the advertising aims.

Most likely, the contract will be signed today. The contract duration is expected to be three years. The advertising campaign is said to start in January 2002. It is worth mentioning that the rightholder in using Figo's image is the Royal Club. Thus, Real will not be left aside in this deal either.
