Figo: Real Madrid MUST hold onto Solari

Luis Figo is urging Real Madrid to offer teammate Santiago Solari a new contract.

The Argentine midfielder can leave Real on a Bosman in the summer and has been speaking with Manchester United, Liverpool and Barcelona about next season.

Figo told Marca: "Obviously, he should be re-signed. It's not a question you have to think about."

"I see him very involved here; with the club and the city. But in football you can't be sure of anything. He would be a great loss."

"To find a player to replace someone as good as Santi is not easy. It would cost a lot, both in time and money."
