Figo: Portugal or retirement for me after Real Madrid

Luis Figo says he will either retire or return to Portugal once he leaves Real Madrid.

The former World Player of the Year has been linked with summer moves to Manchester United, Liverpool and AC Milan.

But he said yesterday: "What I have achieved here cannot be matched by any other club in the world. To be with Real Madrid is a privilege and a dream for any professional."

In the interview, Figo also ruled out joining another European club after Real Madrid and would only think of continuing to play in Portugal.
