Figo: No-one from Real Madrid has told me I must go

Real Madrid winger Luis Figo has denied reports that he has been told he can leave the club by president Florentino Perez.
 
"I remain very surprised with the reports, or perhaps not... It is not true that Florentino Perez called me and much less that he has told me I am a free player and to look for another club," said the Portuguese ace.

"I would like that once and for all people understood one thing: I have a contract with Real Madrid for another year and for me a contract is there to fulfill it."

"Nobody from the club has said anything to me about the possibility that they do not want me to perform one's duty. The Spanish Press is trying to create confusion."
