Figo fit for Osasuna clash

Luis Figo has fully recovered from the blow to the head he received on Wednesday and will start in tomorrow's clash with Osasuna.

Figo was left with a gash on his head after an enthusiastic challenge from one of Lanzarote's back four in the Copa del Rey in midweek but despite finishing the game with a blood-spattered shirt, the Portuguese star is suffering no ill-effects from the collision.

Steve McManaman will miss out after suffering a blow to his back on Wednesday as coach Vicente Del Bosque picks his classic XI to take on the Basques.

Francisco Pavon keeps out the recently-returned Aitor Karanka from the back four alongside Hierro, Salgado and Roberto Carlos.

Osasuna, meanwhile, will be without defender Fran Jusue, who will be replaced by Angel Lekunberri.

Also sidelined through injury are midfielder Alfredo Sanchez and stopper Jose Manuel Yanguas but top-scorer John Aloisi makes a come-back after his disappointing World Cup qualifier in Uruguay with Australia.
