Figo can't believe Real Madrid threatening Liverpool move

Luis Figo can't believe Real Madrid are demanding a £2 million fee from Liverpool for his signing.
 
The Portuguese winger, 32, was assured he could leave the Bernabeu on a free.

Figo said: "I don't know how they can ask for a fee. Sometimes dreams don't come true."

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have revealed that they have yet to receive an offer from Liverpool.

Real Madrid's head of communications, Antonio Garcia-Ferreras, said: "Real Madrid have not received an official offer from Liverpool for Luis Figo."

"It's true that Luis Figo or his agent have been holding talks with Liverpool but there has been no offer for Figo from Liverpool."
