Fernando Morientes Injured - Again

Real Madrid have confirmed that striker Fernando Morientes is to miss the club's three next games due to a recurring thigh injury.

Morientes, already absent from the match against AS Roma, had been injured for the past three months for similar problems.

He only returned in Spain's WC qualifiers victory over Liechstenstein last week, but suspected he injured himself as soon as the following Friday.

Manager Vicente Del Bosque left him out of the Real squad which faced Malaga over the week-end ahead of the Roman galactic clash.

He will definitely miss games against Lokomotiv Moscow next week in the Champions League, as well as Liga matches versus Betis and Espanyol.
