Fenerbahce rumble Middlesbrough hopes for Real Madrid's Geremi

Fenerbahce are threatening Middlesbrough's hopes of completing a permanent deal for Real Madrid midfielder Geremi.

Boro and Real are still locked in talks over the Cameroon international's asking price, with one offer of £3 million already rejected by the Spanish giants.

However, new Fener trainer Christoph Daum has confirmed his interest in Geremi and the Turkish giants have the spending power to outbid Boro if the race develops into an auction.
