Fenerbahce Close In On Real's Flavio

Fenerbahce are closing in on the signing of Real Madrid's unwanted player Flavio Conceicao.

Both clubs have agreed a fee and it is now down to the player to decide if he is to move to Turkey. A decision must be reached by Friday as that is the deadline to register him in time to face Feyenoord in the Champions League qualifier on Tuesday.

The president of Fenerbahce is understood to be very keen to sign the Brazilian and is prepared to match the contract that he is currently on with the European champions.
