Fed-up Roberto Carlos ponders Real Madrid exit

Roberto Carlos is considering his future at Real Madrid.

The Brazil international is angry at the constant speculation about his position at Real, with this week's reports of a move for Arsenal left-back Ashley Cole proving to be the last straw.

AS says Roberto Carlos will receive little argument from Real's board should he decide to ask away as the club's directors have been disappointed with his form since he signed a new contract earlier this year. He has also been barracked by the Santiago Bernabeu crowd this season.

Real coach Mariano Garcia Remon dropped Roberto Carlos for the win at Racing Santander over the weekend and directors are ready to encourage January offers for the 32 year-old should he demand a move.
