The win ensured FC Copenhagen completed the Double as they had captured the Danish Cup earlier this month.
The champions finished the season on 68 points, just one point ahead of Brondby,who completed a 2-1 win over AB Copenhagen.
Alvaro Santos and Jesper Bech handed FC Copenhagen a 2-0 lead in the first half but a lapse of concentration allowed Nordsjaelland back into the game.
An own goal by Ole Tobiasen made it 2-1 in the 35th minute and Tommy Olsen made it 2-2 on a rebound shot in the 44th minute.
A free kick by Morten Bisgaard put Copenhagen back into the lead two minutes into the second half.
Bech scored his second goal of the match when his shot deflected off Nordsjaelland defender Francis Dickoh into the net in the 71st minute.
Brondby, coached by Michael Laudrup, joined Danish Cup finalists AaB Aalborg in the UEFA Cup qualification rounds with their second place finish.
AB Copenhagen and Frem were relegated from the top division.
