Fabri in dark over Sporting future
Rodrigo Fabri is still in the dark as if he will earn a permanent move to Sporting Lisbon after his loan from Real Madrid ends next month.
Rodrigo Fabri is still in the dark as if he will earn a permanent move to Sporting Lisbon after his loan from Real Madrid ends next month.
The Sporting midfielder has enjoyed reasonable success in Lisbon, but the Brazilian admits to still being in the dark as to where his future lies and though he wants to stay in Portugal, he is not sure if Sporting want to keep him.
Fabri said: "I don’t know if this was my last match in a Sporting shirt. Now, I’ll start my vacations period and I will negotiate. My manager will speak with Sporting and with Real Madrid and try to solve my future."
However, Lisbon's Beto could play a key role in Fabri's future. Real made an approach to sign the Portuguese international central defender and, besides money, they offered Fabri in ex-change.
The Lions still did not accept the offer and according to Fabri: "Beto will be decisive in all this process. I want to stay, but if that wouldn’t be possible, I will return from my loan and be on my roll call in Madrid."
