Fabio Capello: "Raul deserves the Golden Ball"

"The Golden Ball? Raul deserves it," said Roma's coach Fabio Capello surprising everybody. Not so long ago Capello nominated Roma's captain Francesco Totti, and now suddenly he sharply changed his affection.

"I think that Raul is worthy of the trophy most of all. What he did in the recent seasons is worth of lavish praises, as he proved everybody that he really is a talented player. To be impartial in choice I gave up Francesco Totti's candidature. Beside Raul it is David Beckham that is worthy of the Golden Ball," Capello announced.

Regarding the fact that Capello may in future take the position of Manchester United's coach, the Roma's coach answered: "Manchester United is one of the strongest teams on level with Real Madrid. But at the moment I can think only about Roma. It's the only thing that interests me now. I'll not speak about the future yet," concluded Capello
