Ex-Real Madrid star Laudrup rules out Barcelona return

Michael Laudrup has ruled out returning to Barcelona as trainer next season.

Currently in his first coaching job with Denmark's Brøndby, Laudrup has been linked with Barca in recent weeks.

But the former Nou Camp and Real Madrid star said, "I am very happy here and I am not going it to leave for anyone, although in four or five years you never know what might happen."

The Dane added, "I do not know if the change of coach and the presidency are necessary; to know the truth it is necessary to be on the inside. But what is clear is that it has been one very rare season for Barca.

"It is not normal that they have been on the brink of the madness of relegation."
