Ex-Real Madrid boss Schuster: Barcelona suffer from Madriditis

Bernd Schuster is convinced Real Madrid have Barcelona rattled ahead of tonight's El Clasico.

The former Real coach said: "There is a very important issue that often people do not like to hear, especially people of Barcelona."

"Although we are frightened by the flu that comes from Mexico, another virus is floating around called Madriditis."

"Sometimes it can strike down a player. I can see these symptoms again because Real Madrid is the only team that can fight with Barcelona (for the title), the only one."

Schuster, a former Barca player, also said: "I'm sure many believe that Real Madrid can win against Barcelona today, and they know it too."

"Madrid has never had these problems but, instead, Barcelona suffer badly. This bit of doubt of what can happen is in the Barca psyche. After so many victories and good football, Barca know that Real are still capable of beating them for the title."
