Ex-Chelsea midfielder Makelele: Real Madrid coach Mourinho calculating and cruel

Claude Makelele has branded Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho "cruel and calculating".

Makelele played for Mourinho at Chelsea and says the Special One is great with his players - until they are no longer useful.

The PSG veteran told El Confidencial: "He's a winner. He knows how to use you and how to motivate you to get everything from you."

"In these terms he is a great coach."

"The problem is when you drop off. At that point he is calculating, cruel and ambitious."
