Ex-Bayern Munich coach Hitzfeld keen on Real Madrid

Former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich trainer Ottmar Hitzfeld has put his hand up for the coaching job at Real Madrid.

Despite Mariano Garcia Remon's appointment this week, its expected Real president Florentino Perez will eventually replace him with a big-name coach.

"By Spring many things could have happened," Hitzfeld told Bild when asked whether he was interested in coaching Real Madrid.
