Everton welcome return for Real Madrid's Gravesen

Everton are favourites to snap up Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen at the end of this season.

Gravesen's future is uncertain with Real keen to bring in a host of new faces. His £2.8m a year tax-free wages make a permanent return to Merseyside beyond Everton.

But the Blues have first refusal on Gravesen and know their chances will hinge on whether they qualify for Europe. A loan deal could be struck for the Dane when the summer market opens.
