Everton make final effort til sign Gravesen

Everton are making a final effort to land Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen.

He was sold to the Spanish giants a year ago for £3m - but Everton have a buy-back clause at the same price, and it now looks certain that the Dane will leave the Bernabeu.

But David Moyes's problem is that Gravesen has also had offers from Italy, Germany and Scotland - as well as being courted by Middlesbrough and Blackburn.
