Eriksson seeks crunch talks with Real Madrid's Beckham

England boss Sven Goran Eriksson has admitted he is seeking talks with captain David Beckham over concerns with his form.

Eriksson will travel to Spain to speak with the Real Madrid midfielder, revealing: "I want to see David."

"I don't know exactly when it will be but I plan to go out before the Holland game in February."

"I cannot believe he is finished as a football player - and he's not. I'm sure about that."

Eriksson added: "I think playing at Real Madrid when they're struggling a bit is difficult."

"The expectation at Real is they should win every game 5-0."

"When they're not doing so, like now, it's difficult for all the players there. You have to look at that."
