Eriksson key in Real Madrid bid for Inter Milan's Stankovic

Real Madrid are being linked with Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic.
 
Stankovic has already declared he wants to play out his career at Inter, however he could be tempted by Real should they appoint Sven Goran Eriksson as coach.

Eriksson has a good relationship with Stankovic after their time together at Lazio and could convince the Serb to join him in Madrid for next season.

Real's interest in Stankovic also has increased speculation of Antonio Cassano returning to Italy at Inter as part of a swap deal.

Cassano's agent, Beppe Bozzo, was spotted last week watching Inter Milan draw with Roma in the first-leg of the Coppa Italia final.
