Eriksson: Best years still in front of Real Madrid's Beckham

England boss Sven Goran Eriksson believes his captain, David Beckham, still has room for improvement.

The Real Madrid star has just turned 30 and will lead a cobbled together England squad for their mini-tour of the United States.

Eriksson is sure skipper Beckham can shine at next year's World Cup finals in Germany. The national chief said: "Are David's best years still ahead of him? I think so."

"Beckham and all the players have the desire and hunger and are dreaming of doing well in the World Cup."
