Entertainment Is More Important Than Success

Real Madrid supremo Florentino Perez gave his football vision following the 4-2 win the Merengues inflicted on Marseille last Tuesday.

"More than our win, it's the entertainment we gave our fans that counts. The great stars that are here can continue to improve as they can play in a team that highlights their elevated technique," he said.

Perez then reflected on the his future at the club.

"I am convinced I still have a lot to do here. We need to consolidate our image and build la Ciudad Deportiva. I hope it will be ready in 2004. I want to underline that in the last two years we ended with a profit. It was ages this didn't occur," he said.
