Edmilson taunts: Barcelona better than Real Madrid

Barcelona defender Edmilson has taunted Real Madrid, insisting their great rivals are a spent force this season.

The Brazilian international is recovering from a knee injury and declared: "In Spain there is no team that can match Barcelona at present."

"The table doesn't lie. No team can match Barca, including Real Madrid."

He added: "There are many differences between Barcelona and Madrid. The simplicity of our game, our strong defence, the will of the players to win something this season, there are many factors which makes us better than Madrid."
