The former Lille forward is on the Los Blancos top list this summer, as they are expected to give a major reinforcement to the team. Zinedine Zidane ‘s side hasn’t been in top shape this season and are trolling 14 points behind Barcelona in the La Liga as well as having been booted out of the Copa del Rey. The Blues are equally facing similar predicament, after losing out to Manchester United and dropping to fifth position on the Premier League table.
Chelsea are willing to tie Hazard down to a new bumber deal, but that will be after the Blegium international has agreed to the new terms. The latest development in the saga is Hazard wants a way out of his contract at anytime, including this summer, when Real Madrid come in for him.
On offer is £300,000-a-week that will make Hazard the topmost paid footballer at Chelsea, but that may not be enough to convince the forward to a new deal. It is somehow a risky proposition for Chelsea who, if they agree to, will lose their star forward at any given time, probably without preparation to find cover.
Hazard has been at Stamford Bridge for six year and has contributed massively to Chelsea’s victories including the Premier League titles twice.
