Duo set to return against Russians

Claude Makelele and Flavio Conceicao look set to return for Real Madrid in tonight's Champions League clash against Lokomotiv Moscow.

With Zidedine Zidane still unavailable due to his UEFA suspension being carried over from last season, the pair are likely to be brought back to play the holding role, with Luis Figo on the right wing and Savio Bortolini replacing Steve McManaman on the left.

Michel Salgado and Aitor Karanka will replace Geremi Ndjitap and Ivan Campo in defence, with Fernando Hierro keeping his place in the side.

Roberto Carlos, nursing a wound he received from a clash with Betis midfielder Canas on Saturday, will be fit to play, but with Fernando Morientes still injured, Jose Maria Gutierrez will partner Raul Gonzalez in attack.

Lokomotiv will arrive at around midday on Tuesday for their second trip to Madrid in successive seasons, after being beaten 2-0 by Rayo Vallecano in the UEFA Cup last year.
