Duel of Zidane and Saviola seems to end

The duel between Frenchman Zinedine Zidane and Javier Saviola in the beginning of the season for the unofficial title of the best newcomer in the Spanish championship seems to end.

Real's player is likely to hold that title, which was admitted by the forward of Barcelona as well.

In one of his interviews Saviola announced: "Zidane leaves me behind because he has more chances to demonstrate himself and is always included in the line-up."

However, Saviola added that he doesn't consider the Spanish championship to be a duel between Ziadene and himself.

As is known, Catalan club head coach Carles Rexach is not going to involve Saviola in the line-up yet, while the player has never had problems with his coach about this issue.

"The head coach is entitled to make choice among five or six forwards. And it is normal that he chooses the players who are considered important for the team. Only he has a right to adopt a decision and we must follow it," Saviola declared.

Saviola also announced that he can demonstrate his capabilities completely only if he adapts himself to the European football.

"In Argentina, unlike Europe, players play more freely leaving a vast space between each other. They play a speedy game. European football takes into account the physical strength of the players most. I am getting accustomed to the style of the European football more and more," Saviola concluded.
