Dudek hopes new Real Madrid coach Mourinho keeps hold of him

Jerzy Dudek is keen to stay with Real Madrid.

The former Liverpool goalkeeper is waiting to hear from new coach Jose Mourinho whether he will be offered a new contract.

Dudek said: "I am very happy to hear that I am wanted here. I am adaptive and I will soon know what I will do. I think I will remain one more year, but I do not know for sure yet."

"I think I have the same chances of staying with or without Mourinho, but I hope I will continue with him because one can learn a lot, and that is also important to me."
