Polish goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, who has come to the end of his contract with English Premiership side Liverpool, said Friday that he has been contacted by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"I have to admit that I've received an offer from one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest," Dudek, 34, told the Liverpool Echo.
"This offer is an honour. I'm seriously considering it."
Dudek arrived in Liverpool in 2001 and was the hero of their Champions League final victory in 2005, when they beat AC Milan on penalties.
But this season his relationship with coach Rafael Benitez has been strained as he has found himself second in the pecking order behind Spaniard Pepe Reina.
