Gareth Bale BOTTLED his Real Madrid home debut, it is claimed.

Punto Pelota says Real medical chiefs insist there was no serious injury for Bale, despite claims of a minor thigh strain keeping him out of yesterday's rout of Getafe.

Bale pulled out of the game minutes before kickoff after complaining of a thigh injury. He was replaced by Isco, who scored in the 4-1 win.

It's suggested "stress and nerves" may've affected the former Tottenham and Southamton star ahead of his much-anticipated home debut.
