Diarra assured of Real Madrid future

Mahamadou Diarra has been assured that Real Madrid intend to hold onto him for next season.

The midfielder's agent, Frederic Guerra, met with Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic yesterday for clear-the-air talks.

Mijatovic made it clear to Guerra that Real were counting on Diarra for next season.
